I have to share with my friends that painting is one thing I do to help myself relieve stress and it is absolutely amazing what it does for me. I feel strong... as I whip my paintbrush around on the canvas. I enjoy blending colors ever so slightly. The end result, regardless of whether or not I like my painting, is that I RELEASED whatever was in me at that moment. Today, when I started this painting, I was feeling pain. But when I looked at the canvas and felt I was finished, I also felt FREE. If you hold on to your pain it just weighs you down and weakens you. Wow, it has been a long while since I've been on dA... I do miss being able to look at everyone's great work.
